Movie House gathers together a collection of tracks which you feel you might have heard in movies (but you haven’t!) A mixture of louder percussive tracks are combined with more atmospheric tracks co-written and featuring the expressive Cello work of Natalie Williams Calhoun. (Tracks 2,4,6,8)

The Album was initially written for the Album Writing Club Challenge, arranged by the Lights and Lines Label, to complete an EP or album in the month of May 2022. Having a deadline to work to helped me to focus on some sketches I had lying around and bring them to a finished state. The camaraderie on the Forum and Twitter from musicians from a wide number of genres was brilliant. But the real highlight for me was collaborating on some of the tracks with a fantastic Cellist on the other side of the Atlantic.

The intimacy with which this album was record really shines. Ms Calhouns love for her chosen instrument - the cello - is very apparent. Picking a favorite is hard but I will pick the happy go lucky "Bumblebeasy" . Tonal Drift Fan
